(AGE 7U/8U UNLIMITED WEIGHT) * 7U/8U football is a TRAVEL COMPETIVE LEVEL teaching basic principles of football with an emphasis on teamwork, fundamentals, and preparing the child for the competitive level of play. The 7U/8U/U season starts the July 15th and ends the first part of December. Teams will play a 7 to 8-game season, with a post season invitational. The first 4 weeks of the season practice will be 5 nights a week at Marmion Academy. Once games begin, practice will be 3 days a week with a game played Saturday or Sunday. All Coaches are Pop Warner and USA Football Certified. Competitive levels are broken up into 3 Divisions: D1, D2, and D3. These 3 levels of play provide the most competitive and safest place for your child to play. Division 1 is our top competitive level followed by Division 2 & 3. Pop Warner National Championships as seen on Flo Sports are held the first part of December in North Carolina. This is for teams that win the State and Regional Championship. Division 1 & 2 are eligible for Nationals. Division 3 will stop after Regional Championships.
